FM Player has been replaced by our new app: King of FM. We highly recommend downloading "King of FM" instead, as it offers superior AUv3 support and improved stability. Additionally, it is compatible with both iPhones and Silicon Macs.

King of FM is a captivating iPad instrument that showcases the iconic sounds of the classic 80s FM Synth, EP, and FM Tine. It has been esteemed by Apple and trusted by over 100,000 musicians worldwide.

Recognized as "BEST APPS OF 2017" by Electronic Musician Magazine and "BEST iOS APPS – 2017" by Audio News Room (ANR), King of FM boasts authentically replicated presets that faithfully capture the essence of the original hardware, as lauded by Electronic Musician Magazine.

FM Player 2 is a secret weapon revered by renowned musicians and Grammy-winning producers, now available on your iPad. With impressive features like faithful multi-sampled recordings of classic presets, Vintage Arp & 16-Step Sequencer, vast preset library, and dual layers per voice, King of FM delivers unparalleled musical versatility.

Featuring AUv3 support (upgrade in progress), King of FM serves as both a stand-alone iPad Synth and is compatible with IAA & Audiobus for seamless integration into your workflow. The app includes exciting new additions such as Vintage Stereo Phaser Effect and FX options like Vintage Chorus, Flanger, Amp Simulator, and more.

With over a gigabyte of meticulously crafted sounds compressed to under 300mb, King of FM ensures an immersive sonic experience. The app also offers a multitude of creative tools including full ADSR Envelopes for each layer, three LFOs with fun routings and the ability to modify other LFOs, and various effects such as Reverb, Auto Pan, Bit Crush, Stereo Fatten, and more.

For keyboard enthusiasts, King of FM is an excellent choice for live performances. It offers MIDI in (compatible with MIDI keyboards), supports various MIDI controls including Mod Wheel, Pitch Wheel, Program Change, Velocity sensitivity, and Sustain Pedal. All knobs also have MIDI Learn functionality for a customized playing experience.
